AEC Business Solutions, LLC is proud to announce that they have met the rigorous requirements to be able to provide continuing education credits and educational resources for Professional Engineers through the Registered Continuing Education Program (RCEP); administered by American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC).

The Find the Lost Dollars Business Management Skill Development for AEC Professionals online platform is based on the content in Find The Lost Dollars: 6 Steps to Increase Profits in Architecture, Engineering and Environmental Firms, authored by AEC Business firm President, June R. Jewell, CPA. The training provides Architectural & Engineering
firms with the tools they need to successfully onboard new project managers as well as train emerging leaders. The training courses are proven to change behavior by adding goal setting and exercises that both engage employees and help them practice the behaviors your want them to learn. The platform introduces a new and innovative approach to business management training for AEC Project Managers.
AEC Business Solutions also has signed an annual sponsorship agreement with ACEC and will be participating as an exhibitor at both the ACEC 2015 Annual Convention in Washington DC, and the ACEC 2015 Fall Conference located in Boston MA. In addition, June will be presenting “Six Steps to Increase Profitability in Your Engineering Firm”, on April 20th in Washington, DC.
“I’ve been providing services to the AEC industry for over 28 years and I am very excited to showcase my new company and products through our sponsorship of ACEC. Our online platform provides business skill training for Project Managers that will increase project profits and in turn increase profits for their entire firm. The Professional Engineers that are members of ACEC will benefit greatly from the training AEC Business offers,” says June.
As an annual sponsor of ACEC, AEC Business Solutions will have three advertisements in Engineering, Inc. magazine and will run a full banner ad on the ACEC Homepage for the entire month of May 2015. The sponsorship also includes advertising in the Last Word Weekly e-Newsletter.
Leo Hoch, Executive Director, Business Relations & Membership of ACEC shares — “We are delighted that AEC Business Solutions has chosen ACEC as a prime method of reaching the A/E industry. Being on top of ones game in business has never been more important. The speed of change, the increase of global competitiveness and the challenges of technology make the need for solutions to deal with the new complexities crucial. June Jewell is great educator and communicator. She has both the knowledge and the ability to educate our members of solutions to maximize profits.”
Bring Clarity to PM Performance
Across A&E firms, Project Managers often operate with very different roles, skill sets, and expectations. That makes it difficult to evaluate performance consistently, identify true capability gaps, and develop PMs in a targeted way.
We are currently developing a Project Manager Competency Assessment designed specifically for architecture and engineering firms. This assessment focuses on the capabilities that most directly influence project profitability, execution, leadership effectiveness, and client outcomes in order to provide firm leaders with clear, objective insight into strengths, gaps, and development priorities.
To ensure this tool addresses real-world challenges, we’ve created a brief, 2-minute survey to better understand:
How PM performance is evaluated today
Where firms struggle with consistency or visibility
Whether there is interest in piloting a practical, firm-specific assessment
Your perspective helps us build something truly valuable for the industry.
